I spent a good bit of time looking over her characterization in OotP and HBP, and then I noticed that she wasn't mentioned as attending Dumbledore's funeral, so the idea took hold of me then. I'm so relieved that you liked it; this was one of those pieces that I didn't really feel I even understood where I was going with it while in the writing process.
