Notes: Drabble requested by littletort, who wanted Mulder/Scully and the mention of the word ‘zoo.’ Takes place right at the end of what is, I believe, my favourite X-Files episode EVAR, Bad Blood.

“You lied, Mulder.”

“What?” he asked incredulously, following Scully out of Skinner’s office.

“You said that was exactly the way it happened but it didn’t.”

God, even the clacking of her shoes is chastising me.

Click clack click clack.

He popped a few sunflower seeds in his mouth and crunched loudly.

“It happened exactly how I said it, Scully. Buck teeth and all.”

“Liar. Those weren’t buck teeth!”

“Oh please, Scully. Those teeth were abnormally large. I bet you five dollars and a new copy of Moby Dick that those choppers could cut through bars at a zoo.”

X-Files love

That's a great drabble. Such a hilarious episode. I've been feeling the X-Files love again lately and thanks to TNT showing the later seasons at the moment, lots of OTP love. :D

My brother got me the first season on dvd for Christmas and damn, the early episodes are so good, and the OTP is there from the pilot. It makes my shipper heart goes pitter pat.

I need some season one fic.
