I've never seen a fic like this in HP fandom before either, but I think that this sort of environment very well could exist at Hogwarts. When I got the Millicent prompt, I thought about WHY she might be so thuggish like Harry and the other Gryffindors have described her to be in the books. The way I portrayed her here made sense to me, and I could really identify with her, moreso than with any of the other characters I've written in the past.
