This was hard at times for me to write because I was right there in Millicent's shoes at that age. The carriage incident in the fic? Happened to me my senior year of high school. So, yeah. I've experienced a lot of similiar things or felt ways that Millicent did in this fic, so I can really identify with it. I think it's important for a character like this to be recognized simply because so many people DO dismiss characters that aren't fit and brilliant because of the stereotypes and warped perception of beauty or what have you. Rar.
Re: Draco, I'm glad! :D I didn't want him to be the shit we see in canon becuause we only see him from Harry's POV, so I gave a lot of thought as to how he might act in the compnay of someone from his own house with whom he might allow the 'mask' to lower and show his true self. I'm just glad you didn't think it was too soft or different, as I tried to still keep him self-involved and stuff :)
